Cookie Policy

What this site stores on your device, and how to control it.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. Similar technologies, such as local storage, work in comparable ways. They help websites function, remember preferences and understand how visitors use pages.

2. How this site uses cookies

This website is deliberately lightweight. The core site works without setting any cookies at all — navigation, animations and forms are delivered with plain HTML, CSS and JavaScript that store nothing on your device.

Cookies only come into play through the following:

CategoryPurposeExamples
Strictly necessary Security and basic delivery of the site by our hosting provider Load-balancing or security cookies set by the host, where applicable
Analytics (if enabled) Understanding which pages are useful so we can improve content Privacy-respecting analytics or Google Analytics, depending on configuration
Third-party embeds Features such as embedded scheduling/booking widgets set their own cookies when you interact with them Calendly or similar booking tools

Where analytics or embedded tools requiring consent are enabled, we will ask for your consent before they run.

3. Fonts

This site loads typefaces from Google Fonts. Your browser requests font files from Google’s servers, which involves your IP address being sent to Google. Google states that font requests are not used for profiling. If you prefer, the site owner can switch to self-hosted fonts on request.

4. Managing cookies

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you:

  • Block all cookies or third-party cookies
  • Delete existing cookies
  • Browse in a private/incognito mode that discards cookies when closed

Guidance for common browsers is available at allaboutcookies.org. Blocking cookies will not stop this site’s core pages from working.

5. Changes to this policy

If we add tools that change how cookies are used — for example a new analytics or booking provider — we will update this page and, where required, request consent first.
